This White and Gold Layered Necklace has three seprate strands. Each strand drapes at a diffrent length. Mulitple tyles and styles of beads are used to create repeated patteren that a slightly diffrent in each strand. To ensure durability the layers are strung with fishing line.  It is finishes with a large brass clasp and hoop end, perfect for any elegant event.

 

Length:  longest strand is 31 in. end to end.

 

About the artist:

 

Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique. 

 

The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
