Red, White, and Blue Star Seed Bead Hair Sticks. These hair sticks come as a set. The stars are hand-stitched and backed with white leather. Great for the 4th of July or any stars and stripes celebrations.
 
Size: ~7.5 in. long
 
All of our hair sticks are sharpend on one end and beaded on the other. A small amout of adhisive is used to secure the beaded end to the hair stick. Most of the beaded used are size 11 seed beads, with occasional acsent beads added to the ends for flare.
 
About the artist:
 
Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique.
 
The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
