Pastel Roses Medallion Necklace. This medallion necklace features a three large roses: yellow, pink, and orange with light turquoise for the leaves. Outlined with a sparkling light turquoise seed bead. Backed with metallic champagne leather and finished with a metalic clasp and matching spacer beads for the necklace strands. 
 
Our hand-stitched Medallion Necklaces are created over several hours using size 11 seed beads. All of our Medallions are hand-sewn onto a beaded foundation with a layer of plastic and backed with leather for durability.

About the artist:
 
Rayne Pelham is the artist behind Grandmother Spider Design. A descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and White Earth band of Chippewa in Minnesota. One of many proud great grandchildren of Elizabeth Bender and Henry Roe Cloud.

The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe (Chippewa) name. Given when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given  in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider: underestimated for her size, her talent to create beauty with her detail was undeniable.
