Multicolor Rose Headband. This beaded rose headband is hand sewn with size 11 seed beads in varying shades of blue, mauve pink, and purples to create depth in the roses. The leaves are a turquoise green, while the stems are in a darker shimmery teal. The bead foundation and plastic backing sit on a soft cream leather for comfort. The thick metal headband can be removed or adjusted to needs (ends of leather are unsealed). Metal headband included.

About the artist:
 
Rayne Pelham is the artist behind Grandmother Spider Design. A descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and White Earth band of Chippewa in Minnesota. One of many proud great grandchildren of Elizabeth Bender and Henry Roe Cloud.

The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe (Chippewa) name. Given when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider: underestimated for her size, her talent to create beauty with her detail was undeniable.
