Native American Light Blue and purple star medallion necklace. This hand stitched seed bead medallion necklace features varying shades of purples, blues, and cream colored seed beads in an expanding star and circular pattern. It also has a section of dangle strands along the bottom for added flair. 
 
Our hand-stitched Medallion Necklaces are created over several hours using size 11 seed beads. All of our Medallions are hand-sewn onto a beaded foundation and completed with a layer of plastic and backed with leather for look and durability. This medallion is backed with a nice gray/silver leather with striped animal printing.

About the artist:
 
Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique.
 
The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
