White Roses on Pink Hair Stick Barrette. This hand-stitched hair accessory features a pair of white roses on light pink background. Multiple shades of white and grays are sewn to make the flowers while the light pink background is speckled with light pink sparked beads on the soft light pink backdrop. Finished with an edge of sparkle pink seed beads and  backed with a cream white leather, this beautiful barrette makes for a truely detailed and unique hair accessory.
 
Our hand-stitched barrettes are created over several hours using size 11 seed beads. All of our hair barrettes are hand-sewn onto a beaded foundation with a layer of plastic and backed with leather for durability. Each barrette includes a hair stick with a beaded end.

About the artist:
 
Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique.
 
The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
