Calla Lily Hair Stick Barrette. This hand-stitched hair accessory features a single calla lily using pearl, cream and gray to shade and outline the image. The background beads are a white cut bead for that they shine around the flower image. Backed with a nice white leather.
Our hand-stitched barrettes are created over several hours using size 11 seed beads. All of our hair barrettes are hand-sewn onto a beaded foundation with a layer of plastic and backed with leather for look and durability. Each barrette includes a hair stick with a beaded tip on one end matching the barrette it pairs with.

About the artist:
Rayne Pelham is the artist behind Grandmother Spider Design. A descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and White Earth band of Chippewa in Minnesota. One of many proud great grandchildren of Elizabeth Bender and Henry Roe Cloud.
The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe (Chippewa) name. Given when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider: underestimated for her size, her talent to create beauty with her detail was undeniable.
