A Hand-stitched Native American Blue and Purple Medallion Necklace. This hand stitched seed bead medallion necklace features varying shades of blue in an expanding star pattern. This unique design creats a one-of-a-kind neck piece.
Our hand-stitched Medallion Necklaces are created over several hours using size 11 seed beads. All of our Medallions are hand-sewn onto a beaded foundation with a layer of plastic and backed with leather for durability. *Note: light purple beads can fade if left too long in direct sunlight.

Attachment Strings: about 13” from the medallion to the end ties
About the artist:
Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique.
The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
