Blues and Yellow Beaded Woodland Creature Mobile; this one of a kind creation has five seprately beaded woodland creatures. Each is backed with leather and a layer of plastic inside for durability. Using several shades of blues, yellow,and a sparse amount of black seed bead, these adorabe creations are attached to the douls with shortend strands of large decorating beads. This mobile can hang off any hook that fits the eye in the center.  Each creature is about 2-3 inches long.


About the artist:


Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique. 


The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
