Hand-stitched Native American Blue and Yellow Tribal Pattern Hair Stick Barrette. This hand made hair accessory features various shades of blue and yellow seed beads sewn to form a unique tribal pattern.

Our hand-stitched barrettes are created over several hours using size 11 seed beads. All of our hair barrettes are hand-sewn onto a beaded foundation with a layer of plastic and backed with leather for durability. Each barrette includes a hair stick with a beaded end.
About the artist:
Rayne Pelham is the artist and curator behind Grandmother Spiders Design. She is a descendant of both the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the White Earth Band of Chippewa. After many years as an educator and producing artworks on occasion, she is now turning her hobby into a career. She specializes in Native American-inspired designs producing art and jewelry that is truly unique.
The design studio's name is derived from the legend behind Rayne's Ojibwe name. Named when she was one, she is also, Nah quay Wa bun in nee go quay; translated she is Catches the Morning Sunrise Woman, a name given in honor of the story of Grandmother Spider.
